Desert Child plays damn good music. Whether covering a classic or performing their own originals, you’ll be wholeheartedly singing and dancing along. They absolutely nailed every aspect of our wedding day. The ceremony music was timed to perfection and at the reception even our dancing-averse relatives were out on the floor! Kind, professional, and all around cool people - I couldn’t recommend Desert Child more.

As a wedding planner planning my own wedding I knew I was searching for a band that could play to a wide variety of music tastes, keep my multi-generational guests on the dance floor all night long, and be anything but a stereotypical wedding band. To say Desert Child nailed it is an understatement. They MADE our wedding and were easily the most memorable portion of our day. If you’re looking for a not-so-wedding…wedding band….look no further. This is it!

We are so glad that we booked Desert Child for our wedding. Their talent far exceeded that normally seen with wedding bands, and pulled our guests in like we were at a concert. We ended up extending our band time by 30 minutes because everyone was having such a good time. They stripped down a few of our favorite songs for our ceremony which was special too. Booking, planning, and day-of events were all easy to navigate and I have already recommended them to a friend of mine getting married in Colorado!

Hands down the best part of our wedding! They played acoustic music at our ceremony and had the full band at our reception. Both were just right. Ari was a tremendous help in keeping us on our timeline so that we could get on the dance floor and dance the night away. All our guests have been raving about how great the band was. 100% worth booking these guys if you want the vibes to be good, the music to be epic, and the dance floor to be packed!

Being a part of a Desert Child show is a beautiful hybrid of being 6 gin and tonics deep at your hometown dive bar, singing the classics with your closest friends, and having front row tickets to a show at Red Rocks. Yes beer bottles will get used as mics, and the tambourine will get passed around the crowd. With a soundtrack of tasty licks played with crisp execution, thoughtful harmonies and contagious energy that gets amplified when listening in the great outdoors. Nicest folks you’ll meet with the best taste in music, and the talent to do it justice.

The answer is Desert Child. These guys know how to get a crowd going and it was the highlight of our own wedding. The next day EVERY person I talked to raved about how good the band was. And it wasn’t just my wedding. I've seen them in other places, and the looks on people's faces as they watch Desert Child do their thing is soo cool. Glad it wasn't just me. Very talented musicians who obviously love what they do. 10 outta 10. Don't hesitate. They will make your wedding or event the best party you've been to!

I hired Desert Child to play at my wedding at Dunton Hot Springs. They played for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception after dinner. Everything was perfect. They had everything to put on a great show including a sound engineer and lighting. And, of course, they sounded amazing. Every member of the band is very talented. They did a great job reading the room and playing a great selection of songs. Ari was a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating and helpful in picking out songs for the ceremony. Our group was small, only 45 people, and Desert Child was great at keeping everyone engaged and on the dance floor. The band really helped make our wedding weekend truly memorable!
